Lally Infosys PTU Regional Centre organized a Inter Centre competition named ‘Virsa Punjab Da 2011’ between all PTU Learning Centres of Jalandhar distt.
The students of 7 centres of Jalandhar District i.e Adampur, Goraya, Jalandhar-1, Jalandhar Cantt, Jalandhar-2, Nakodar and Phillaur centres performed bhangra and giddha with zeal and enthusiasm.
Er. R.P.S Bedi (Joint Registrar), PTU was Chief Guest. Arvind Narayaz and Arun Narayaz( Naryaz Dance Institute) were judges.
Team of Lally Infotech PTU Learning Centre, Jal Cantt was declared first in Giddha ,Lally Infosys,BMC Chowk Jal,learning centre PTU was ranked Second and team of PTU Learning Centre Adampur was ranked third .
Team of Lally Infosys,BMC Chowk Jal,Learning Centre PTU was declared first in Bhangra.
Word of thanks was given by S.Sukhwinder Singh Lally (Managing Director Lally Infosys). He said PTU was ranked No. 1 university in distance education learning in year 2010. This year we are starting cultural activities and sports activities like Cricket and Badminton in future will be held to make the system better than regular college system.
As God made Human the most intelligent creature on earth so it is his duty not only earn, eat and sleep like other creatures ,he should look after other creatures, environment to be a good human so that next generation can lead a better life.
